How to Add an Interview to Your Outlook Calendar


After scheduling an interview in Team Engine, you can download and import the event into your Microsoft Outlook calendar.

Steps in Team Engine:

  1. Open the applicant’s profile.
  2. Move the applicant to Phone Interviewing or Interviewing status.
  3. Schedule the interview.
  4. After the schedule is set, click the three dots (⋯) menu.
  5. Select Add to Calendar.

The file will download in the .ics format, which can be imported into Outlook.

Steps in Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook and go to the Calendar view.
  2. Click File in the top menu.
  3. Select Open & Export, then click Import/Export.
  4. Choose Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs).
  5. Browse to the downloaded .ics file and click OK.
  6. Choose whether to import the event into your current calendar or create a new one.

Once imported, the interview event will appear in your Outlook calendar and be ready to manage.
