How Indeed Job Visibility Works When You Post Through Team Engine
Overview
When you publish a job in Team Engine, it is sent to Indeed through Team Engine's ATS integration. Indeed applies different policies to jobs posted directly on Indeed and jobs sent through an ATS.
This article explains what that distinction means for your Team Engine jobs—and what you can do when a job is not appearing as expected.
The 30-day rule applies to jobs posted directly on Indeed
In the United States and Canada, Indeed's Free Job Post Policy limits jobs posted directly on Indeed to three free jobs per calendar month. Those jobs may appear in search results for up to 30 days.
Jobs sent from Team Engine are not subject to that specific direct-post policy. However, that does not mean a job is guaranteed to receive organic visibility for a set period of time. Indeed can still limit, hide, remove, or require sponsorship for a job based on its posting, duplicate, quality, or other policy requirements.
Indeed lists up to 120 days of free visibility only for certain countries outside the United States and Canada. It does not publish a 120-day organic-visibility promise for Team Engine jobs in the U.S. or Canada.
Keep Team Engine as your source of truth
To give your jobs the best opportunity to perform well on Indeed:
- Make job changes in Team Engine. Avoid creating or editing a separate version of the same job directly in Indeed.
- Keep job details current. Update the location, pay, schedule, benefits, duties, and hiring status when they change.
- Use one live job for each real opportunity. Do not copy a job just to refresh it in search results.
- Close filled roles promptly. Keep only genuine, currently open jobs active.
- Use clear, complete content. Accurate titles, descriptions, locations, and application details help meet Indeed's quality standards.
If a job is flagged or loses visibility
- Log in to your Indeed Employer Dashboard and review the job's status, flag, or sponsorship notice.
- In Team Engine, confirm that the job is active, complete, current, and not duplicated for the same role and location.
- Review the job title and description against Indeed's quality standards.
- If you believe the job was incorrectly limited or flagged, contact Indeed Employer Support through your Indeed account.
What Team Engine can help with
Team Engine Support can confirm whether a job was successfully sent through the integration. Team Engine does not control Indeed's moderation decisions or guarantee that Indeed will restore organic visibility.
