How to Opt Back In to Text Messages

If you or an employee accidentally opted out of text messaging, don’t worry—opting back in is quick and easy. There are a couple of ways to re-enable messaging so communication can resume.


Opt In from the Employee Profile

  1. Navigate to the employee’s profile in the directory
  2. Click Opt-In to Texts

If the option is unavailable, you can also:

  • Remove the phone number
  • Click Save
  • Re-enter the phone number and save again

Opt In via Text Message

Employees can also opt back in directly from their phone by sending any of the following keywords to the messaging number:

START, UNSTOP, YES, or SUBSCRIBE

Once sent, text messaging will be re-enabled and they will begin receiving messages again.
