Integrating with Inova

Team Engine and Inova's partnership allows you to have a complete integration in order to automate the manual and repetitive work between the two systems.

What it does:

This is a two way sync between your Inova account and your Team Engine directory. This means two things:

  1. When you move an applicant to a certain point in the hiring process (any step from interested to employee) the information the applicant put in their application will automatically transfer over to a new applicant or employee profile in Inova.
  2. During the employees tenure, any changes you make in Inova such as terminations, phone number changes, etc. will automatically sync to Team Engine and update your directory. Additionally, this sync will pull in all of your groups and supervisor information to help you communicate with your staff easily. 


How To Set It Up

Part One: Connect your Team Engine account to Inova

In your Team Engine account, navigate to ‘Company Settings’ by clicking the gear icon in the lower left corner.


Scroll down to the “Integrations” section of the page.

Click the blue ‘Connect to Inova’ button.


Enter your customer short name from your Inova account. This can be found in your Inova URL and is unique to your company.



In the first drop down menu choose the status change (from interested to employed) you would like Team Engine to automatically transfer applicants to your Inova account. 


In the second drop down menu choose the area you would like the applicant to be created in Inova (applicant or employee).


The user name for the applicant's newly created profile in Inova will be the applicant's email address and the password will be InovaPayroll123!


Click save.


Part Two: Connect your Inova account to Team Engine

In your Team Engine account, navigate to ‘Company Settings’ by clicking the gear icon in the lower left corner.

Scroll down to the “Integrations” section of the page.

Click on the ‘Request Sync with Inova’ button and input your Inova representative’s contact info. 

Our team will then send you an email to schedule a time to set up the sync with you.
