How to Set Up Automated Paychex Reports for Team Engine
Team Engine will securely receive automated Analytics reports directly from your Paychex account.
This is a reporting-only setup and requires no ongoing manual exports once configured.
What You’ll Need
- Admin access in Paychex
- 5–10 minutes to complete setup
- The Team Engine reporting email: hr.reports@teamengine.io
Step 1: Log Into Paychex
- Sign in to your Paychex Flex account using an admin-level user
Step 2: Navigate to Analytics Reports
- Go to Reporting
- Select Analytics (or Analytics Reports, depending on your Paychex menu)
Step 3: Create or Select an Analytics Report
You can use an existing Analytics report or create a new one.
The report should include employee-level fields such as:
- Employee Name
- Employee ID
- Employment Status (Active/Inactive)
- Job Title
- Location
- Hire Date
- Termination Date (if applicable)
Step 4: Schedule the Report
- Open the report
- Select Schedule Report
- Set the report to run on a recurring schedule
- Daily or weekly is recommended
Step 5: Configure Report Delivery
- Choose Email as the delivery method

Add the Team Engine reporting email:
hr.reports@teamengine.io
- Save your scheduled report
Step 6: Confirm Setup
- Confirm the report is listed as Scheduled and Active
- Notify the Team Engine team once complete so we can verify delivery
