How to Check Email Notifications

Email notifications help you stay informed about important updates like new applicants, messages, and system alerts. If you’re not receiving expected emails—or want to adjust what you’re notified about—you can quickly review and update your settings in Team Engine.

Hiring Notifications (Jobs Page)

You can manage notifications for individual jobs or all jobs:

  1. Go to the Jobs page
  2. Click the bell icon
  3. Choose to adjust notifications for a specific job or all jobs

Organization Notification Settings

To review company-wide notification preferences:

  1. Navigate to Company Settings
  2. Click Notifications
  3. Ensure your preferred notifications are turned on

In case you're not receiving email notifications, try these steps:

If you’re not getting email notifications, here are some common fixes:

  • Check Spam/Junk Folder — Emails can sometimes be filtered incorrectly. If found, mark them as “Not Spam” to improve delivery.
  • Whitelist Team Engine — Add @teamengine.io to your safe sender list to prevent messages from being blocked.
  • Check Email Notification Settings — Make sure notifications are still enabled within your email application.
  • Verify Email Server Settings — Confirm your email system (SMTP, filters, restrictions) is set up correctly and not blocking messages.

Important Note

If messages are being blocked by the recipient, suppression may be enabled to prevent further delivery attempts. Whitelisting @teamengine.io can help avoid this issue.
