How to Send Automated Reminders to Supervisors
Automated reminders help ensure important employee milestones and tasks never get missed. You can use these reminders for annual reviews, benefits eligibility, certifications, work anniversaries, onboarding follow-ups, and more.
Team Engine can automatically notify supervisors, administrators, or other team members by email or text when action is needed.
For example, if employees become eligible for benefits after 90 days, Team Engine can automatically remind your benefits administrator to prepare enrollment paperwork or schedule a meeting.
Steps to Create an Automated Reminder
- Navigate to the Automations dashboard.
- Under Process Automation click Employee Tenure then Add Automation.
- Choose your preferred automation settings and milestone trigger.
- Under Automation Type, select Receive Notification.
- Choose the supervisor, admin, or designated team member who should receive the alert.
- Select how the notification should be sent — email or text message.
- Save the automation.

Once enabled, Team Engine will automatically send reminders at the selected employee milestone or timeline.
